BALI BBQ SAUCE

When the Original Naughty Bali BBQ Sauce was born, we knew it was fire. Literally. While many love it - crave it, in fact - others wouldn't... COULDN'T... even try it.

And that made us sad because the flavor Chef Maya created was so extraordinary, so Bali Delicious, that we had to democratize it and introduce a sauce with all the flavor with none of the burn.  

Introducing Not So Naughty Bali BBQ Sauce. It has the edge of our Original Naughty BBQ Sauce - the aromatic onion and garlic, zesty ginger, sweet tamarind and fragrant lemongrass - but only a whisper of Thai chili to balance it out, not add heat. 

We crafted this for baby tongues and redheads everywhere (no shade, Gingers... science says redheads really do feel chilies more!)

Use this magical elixir as a finishing sauce on proteins, as a final toss-and-turn in stir-fries, drizzled over pizza (fresh or day-old), swirled into noodles or rice, smeared on toast - or our favorite - simply eaten by the spoonful. 

It's that good. The clean ingredients are fire. The spice level is not.

FLAVOR PROFILE

Not So Naughty Bali BBQ brings an umami-rich first bite with a beautifully balanced, aromatic finish.

Like our Original Naughty Bali BBQ without the heat, it layers tangy tamarind, subtle sweet coconut nectar. and savory onion, garlic lemongrass, and ginger for depth and vibrancy. This isn't traditional BBQ... this is BBQ reimagined, and just a little bit 'Naughty'.

Coconut Nectar*, Onion, Coconut Aminos* (Coconut Blossom Nectar*, Balinese Sea Salt), Water, Distilled Vinegar*, Garlic Puree*, Ginger Puree*, Tamarind Paste*, Sea Salt, Green Thai pepper (Chili Pepper, Salt, Vinegar), Coconut Sugar*, Ground Turmeric*, Lemongrass Powder.

USES

Slather and grill proteins & veg on the grill or roast them in the oven. Toss & top noodles, fried rice or grain bowls for a Bali street-food glow up. And let's not forget the dip-and-dunk for fries, pizza, wings & tacos (fresh or leftovers!). Finally, swirl into mayo for a spread worth sharing.
