FEISTY

ORIGINAL NAUGHTY

BALI BBQ SAUCE

When we set out to create "THE" Naughty Bali BBQ Sauce, this is where we landed.

We challenged our in-house Balinese Chef, Maya, to recreate Naughty Nuri's legendary BBQ Sauce - but without any sugar or soy. She didn't just match it (sorry, not sorry, Naughty Nuri's) ...she made it better, adding a symphony of flavors that blew us away!

To complement her brilliant use of garlic, onion, ginger, tamarind and lemongrass, we found the ultimate chili pepper: the 7 Pot Brain Strain. Originally from Trinidad. It earned its name from one pepper being hot enough to spice seven pots of stew with a wrinkled brain-like appearance to match. Blended with just a dash of Thai Chili, the Original Naughty Bali BBQ Sauce is unlike anything you've tried - one taste, and you'll never want to give it up.

The spice is balanced so the aromatics shine first, enhancing whatever's in your bowl or on your plate. Then... the heat happens. It builds gently - it's not offensive nor overwhelming - just enough to make flavors pop. Sure, you may want a glass of milk or beer nearby, but this isn't a face-melting, tongue-stripping kind of burn.

This stuff is the stuff of legends. Eat on.

FLAVOR PROFILE

Original Naughty Bali BBQ brings an umami-rich front with a bold chili punch. Not a punch that will knock you on your a$$ but certainly one you'll notice. Tamarind brings the tangy brightness, coconut nectar a lovely sweet, and layers of onion, lemongrass, and ginger to round it out with aromatic depth.

The flavor shines first, and the spice lingers long enough to keep you coming back for more.
