Tofu Musubi
Ingredients

1/4 cup
Big Tree Farms ROC Golden Coconut Sugar
1 tbsp
oyster sauce
2 tsp
sriracha
1 tsp
sesame oil
furikake
nori sheets
musubi mold
Directions
- Wash and cook rice
- Take tofu out of packaging. set on top of paper towel and place another paper towel on top. Lightly press with plate or leave heavy plate on top to relieve the tofu water for about 5 min (you may press and pat dry as well)
- Cut nori sheets to match musubi mold size. set aside
- Cut dry tofu into rectangles to match musubi mold. Lightly coat tofu surface with cornstarch. Shallow pan fry tofu at 330F until all sides are crispy and lightly brown (be careful not to fry tofu too close as they can stick together). set aside to let cool
- Mix Big Tree Farms Organic Coconut Aminos, Big Tree Farms Organic Coconut Sugar, oyster sauce, sriracha, and sesame oil in a sauce pan and cook on medium heat while stirring until it thickens (enough to coat back of spoon). set aside
- Layer rice then furikake into musubi mold and press down into mold. push through to create musubi rice shape. dip crispy tofu into musubi sauce, then place on top of musubi rice. Carefully wrap nori by pressing down on each of the sides tightly then folding the nori underneath one byone
- Enjoy!
