Cantonese Steamed Fish

Ingredients

  • White fish (preferably cod or sea bass)
  • Big Tree Farms Original Organic Coco Aminos
  • Fresh ginger
  • Fresh garlic
  • Scallions
  • Cilantro (optional)
  • Sesame oil
  • Neutral oil (avocado oil recommended)

Directions

  1. Slice up all aromatics (scallions, ginger, garlic, cilantro)
  2. In a small pan, heat up some oil & toss in your aromatics for about 4-5 minutes (until fragrant) then set aside
  3. Take your fillets of fish and pat them dry with a paper towel
  4. Steam fish in a traditional steamer for about 6 minutes (can also add water to a pan with an elevated plate & cover if you don’t have a steamer)
  5. In separate bowl, assemble sauce (Big Tree Farms Original Organic Coco Aminos, pinch of salt, sugar, water & sesame oil)
  6. Once fish is cooked, plate with some white rice & pour the sauce over everything adding cooked aromatics on top of the fish
